Royal Adelaide Show
The Royal Adelaide Show is an annual agricultural show run by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of South Australia. First held in 1844, the Royal Adelaide Show is arguably the longest running event in South Australia.
Core to the show are the competitive entries, such as livestock, pets, arts, food, beverages, and displays of skill. In addition, the show features entertainment, exhibitors, sideshows, rides, and showbags. It is attended by up to half a million people every year, making it the state’s biggest event.
Since 2012 ForMile Events has managed the afternoon and evening entrainment on the Main Arena. While the entertainment program varies from year to year, crowd favourites include Car Soccer, Monster Trucks, Rocket Man, V8 Ute Exhibitions, Precision Driving Teams, Stunt Motorbike Riders and the nightly fireworks display.
In 2022, ForMile Events was additionally engaged to manage the traffic management for the event which is one of the largest attended events in South Australia reusing multiple teams working over a daily 16 hour period for 9 consecutive days.
